Winnie the Pooh
Did you know that A.A.Milne, the author of the Winnie the Pooh stories, lived near the village of Hartfield in East Sussex on the edge of the Ashdown Forest? He based the Hundred Acre Wood on real places in the forest and E.H.Shepard based the books’ illustrations on actual places there!
Pooh’s adventures with Christopher Robin, Piglet and Eeyore are some of the world’s favourite children’s stories. You’ve got to love a bear of very little brain who is rather too fond of honey. Despite that, the stories contain some inspirational quotes.
Promise me you'll be braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
