KS1 Net Games

Last Wednesday, a group of children from Cuckoo Class spent a very active afternoon at a Net Games festival at St Paul’s in Burgess Hill. They had great fun with a range of equipment including balloons, shuttlecocks, bean bags, pickle ball bats, badminton and tennis rackets. They demonstrated the School Games values of Respect by listening carefully to the Sports Leaders who were running the event, Teamwork by working cooperatively and Determination as they tried to beat their scores. The Leaders even commented on how sporty the St Peter’s team were!
