1st Ardingly Scout Group has been at the heart of the local community for over a century. Since its founding in 1912, the group has provided young people from Ardingly and neighbouring villages, including Horsted Keynes, with opportunities for fun, adventure and personal growth.
On Wednesday 23rd September we welcomed Lauren Miller-Porter (Beaver Leader) and Kay Miller-Porter (Cub Leader), to lead an assembly, where they talked more about what the groups offer children and young people aged 6-18. A chance to develop new skills, build confidence and enjoy a wide range of exciting activities, whether as Beavers taking their first steps in Scouting, Cubs eager to explore, Scouts seeking adventure or Explorers embracing new challenges. 1st Ardingly Scout Group offers a welcoming environment where lifelong friendships and memories are made. We hope after such inspiring assembly, that children are encouraged the children to join. Please visit www.ardinglyscouts.org.uk to register your interest. Spaces are limited, so we encourage families to sign up promptly.
The group is also looking for additional parent volunteers to support its activities. If you would like to get involved, please speak to Kay or Lauren. Your support could make a real difference to the experiences available to local young people.
